and community leaders whose help made our existence possible. BHI also extends its thanks to the Honorable Members of the Tennessee Supreme Court, first for entertaining its Petition and opening the proposed amendment to Supreme Court Rule 13 up for public comment, and also for considering the overwhelming and unanimously positive comments submitted to them concerning BHI’s proposed amendment to Supreme Court Rule 13 without which Billable Hours, Inc. would not exist. All Tennesseans are lucky to have such compassionate, understanding, and learned Justices sitting on the Court. Our thanks is also extended to the leadership and staff of the Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts, especially Director Libby Sykes, Deputy Director Tim Townsend, and General Counsel David Haynes. Although the AOC caused the temporary termination of BHI, without the initial guidance, counsel, and cooperation of these individuals, BHI would never have filed its Petition to Amend Supreme Court Rule 13. The leadership and staff of the AOC does a fine job handling the tremendous workload placed upon them. BHI certainly hopes to continue to work with these fine individuals to lessen their workload and make the entire process more efficient. Thanks to all of those who made BHI possible. The management, employees, and staff of Billable Hours, Inc. look forward to working to benefit the bench, the bar, the indigent defendant, and the AOC for many years to come. We hope you find BHI to be your “Court Appointed Billing Solution.”
